My head is spinning. There is so much I want to say. I don’t know where to begin or what to include. Over the past couple weeks, the state of our nation has been bothering me. We have seen the First Amendment thrown out the window. Censored speech has become the norm if it is in disagreement with the “politically correct.” No longer is it acceptable to refer to he or she – only neutral gender terms, Does that make he or she an it? Whether we believe it, the truth is it will get worse until we own no freedoms. Someone needs to do something now!
There has been talk of Donald Trump starting a third political party. Personally, I think that would be great, but it isn’t going to happen. My cousin was asking for input on how to start a political party. I did some research, and the process is overwhelming. That won’t work either. If anyone has some ideas, I’m open to them. Just mention them in the comments section below or email through the Contact page.
Ultimately, it’s not about the president or a political party. The dark force behind U. S. politics is bigger than any individual or group of people. The enemy of our nation is spiritual wickedness in high places. It is a spiritual battle and can only be fought using spiritual means.
Just as gathering an army of individuals to enlist in a third political party is necessary, so it is in the Lord’s Army. One standing alone has great strength, for it is the Lord working in and through him. Yet many in the presence of the Lord make it even harder for darkness to overcome. We know that Leviticus 26:8 tells us, “And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight . . . ” We know two are stronger than one, and three are stronger yet. Equally, 100 is stronger than five.
That being said, we are looking for an army of powerful prayers to tear down the strongholds that hold America hostage. We are looking for myriads of people to join hands in battle and go forward in the Name of the LORD. I’m asking you – no, pleading with you to reach out to those you know and invite them to be a part of this movement. All they need to do is click the “Follow” button at the bottom of the page – and then pray! Remember the direction in Ecclesiastes 4:12: “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
But may we not forget, our strength is not in a website but in Jesus, the Messiah. Stand tall on your knees and fight. We know the rest of the story. We win!
Knees for the Nations 
As a Watchman on the Wall there is little I can do but pray. Most people are uncomfortable about declaring their colours but beaver away looking for openings and reaching out to hurting people with just kindness and concern having lit a spark they can only pray it will ignite into a flame somewhere down the line.
As children of God we can expect to get attacks and sometimes they come from within the church body. I remember very clearly being challenged by one who considered herself highly placed in the pecking order after I made a comment about the government. “Oh Pauline” she gleefully jumped at the chance to correct “we are supposed to pray for our Government and leaders”. My reply “Oh believe me I do, I pray that God will remove them from power and raise up men of integrity and honesty. That did not go down very well. Another comment from the same assailant “we haven’t seen you for a few weeks Pauline”. “No” I replied “I’ve been In the Cave”. She would obviously know the scripture concerning David hiding himself away. I considered I had probably got rid of this irritant – no – she pulled up alongside me in her car and spoke through the open window “I have a message for you, God says its time to come out of the cave”. “Really” I replied “He is perfectly capable of dealing with me he doesn’t need a go-between. From that point on I was out of reach – moving to another area.
Ours is a mighty awesome God we believe and trust He will deal with those in power. In the UK the churches are fat on compromise and you are truly blessed if you have a leader who isn’t a lesbian or homosexual – they are well dug in the very fabric of churches and at government level. If your church is part of a denomination that accepts this you have no choice other than to break away and walk alone.
It is totally refreshing to meet someone who like yourself has searched for a church home and drawn a blank. To enjoy mutual agreement and comfort and know that that person will be part of our heavenly family. Yes we are swimming against the tide but with every fibre of our being we know we are right. And the apostasy – “the great falling away” is alive and well. UNTIL …………………..

The condition of our nations truly is sad, Pauline, But I guess that’s the hand we’ve been dealt/ Even though there are much hate and negativity in our governments, we embrace it as God’s plan for our lives – and we are the victors!!!
