Please Join Us (Continued)

As I mentioned last week, Knees for the Nations is kicking off a week of consecration as we seek the Lord and focus on Him with our whole heart. The week is March 21-27. If you missed the details, check out last week’s Blog (Please Join Us). The initial invitations are moving quite nicely, as several folks have volunteered to help spread the word. I have a list of over 5,000 Bible-believing churches, and my original goal was to contact 1,000 of them. I never dreamed the response to help send the letters would be so great. We’re on track to reach all 5,000 churches by March 13th.

It’s time to crunch some numbers. I realize some will have more and some will have less, but suppose each church has an average of 100 attendees. 5,000 churches with 100 people give us a potential reach a half-million people. Can you imagine 500,000 folks on their knees, in one accord, seeking God on behalf of their families, churches, and nation, at the same time. That’s incredible.

Now, I realize not all will choose to be involved, but for those of us who do, God will open the windows of Heaven and pour blessing after blessing upon us. If you’ve not already committed to be a part, there is still time. We need you, and honestly, you can’t afford to miss it. God is going to do some wonderful things the week of March 21-27, so get ready to join us.

I’ve included a prayer list (and I will again as the time gets closer). Think about what God can do if 500,000 give themselves wholly in one accord that week. He will surely hear from Heaven. No doubt about it. I’m looking forward to you being a vital part of what God plans to do.

I'm not getting any younger and I've enjoyed writing almost my entire life - from lyrics and poetry to short stories and novels. Most, but not all of my writing, contain spiritual themes. I am a born-again Christian, and I try to honor my Lord through the written page. He has truly changed my life and I'm forever grateful. In addition to writing, I also pastor Lifegate Baptist Church in Bellefonte, PA, and have a burning desire to see God revive our land. The Great American Fast is my passion so please stop by and visit me at www.thegreatamericanfast.org. I've lived in the same small town all but twelve of my 60 years. Central PA is a wonderful place to live - mountains, streams, and peace abound. I enjoy spending time with my family and the family pets - four cats and a dog.
