Now is the Time

The Great American will be here before you know it. It’s time to start preparing. Don’t wait until the last minute to stretch your prayer life and Bible reading. Draw close to the Lord now. You’ll be even closer when it’s time to take part in the Fast.

Here are some FAQs.

What do we have planned this year? A great time of prayer and seeking the face of God. Challenging preaching and lots of good Christian fellowship. Times of happy and worshipful singing. And much more. Please plan top be a part.

When and where does TGAF XI take place? We reserved the Lamar Lighthouse Campgrounds for September 10th and 11th, 2021. The program begins at 6:00 pm on Friday, the 10th and picks up again Saturday morning at 9:00 am. The camp is at 4746 Nittany Valley Dr., Rt. 64, Lamar, PA 16848.

Who will be the speakers? That’s an excellent question which deserves an excellent answer. This year TGAF will feature Pastor Joe Basso of Grace Baptist Church in Rio Grande, NJ, church planter Michael Dionne from Pennsylvania, and Brit Emel, traveling evangelist from New Mexico. All will speak in the evening, morning, and afternoon sessions.

How much does TGAF XI cost? Nothing. The weekend is totally free, however, overnight rooms are limited. It’s best to get your request for accommodations to me early by emailing me through the Contact page.

If you have other questions, please email as as well. Hope to see you!!!

I'm not getting any younger and I've enjoyed writing almost my entire life - from lyrics and poetry to short stories and novels. Most, but not all of my writing, contain spiritual themes. I am a born-again Christian, and I try to honor my Lord through the written page. He has truly changed my life and I'm forever grateful. In addition to writing, I also pastor Lifegate Baptist Church in Bellefonte, PA, and have a burning desire to see God revive our land. The Great American Fast is my passion so please stop by and visit me at www.thegreatamericanfast.org. I've lived in the same small town all but twelve of my 60 years. Central PA is a wonderful place to live - mountains, streams, and peace abound. I enjoy spending time with my family and the family pets - four cats and a dog.
